Why can’t we be Frenz?

I’ve got an upcoming story in an issue of Spider-Man Family, and I recently got the pencils back, and I’m rather pleased with them. The art is by one of the industry’s stalwart draftsmen, Ron Frenz, and the inks will be by another talented veteran, Sal Buscema.

Nothing says romance like the backdrop of a mysterious superhero blasting a man-lizard back into prehistoric times.

I’m quite happy to be working with two men that I, comic-wise, grew up with. So this is not only a preview of the upcoming story, but a tip of the hat to the work they did for me here, and also over the years. Thanks Ron! Thanks Sal!

Now that you’ve worked with one of the mighty Buscema brothers I think you officially need a “Bullpen” name….”Peerles” Paul? Paul “Tremendous” Tobin?

Those both sound better than “The Bald Guy,” which is what I’ve been going with so far.
