Murder Mystery with Merry Marvel Models
Comic Book Resources has a nice little interview with myself and Marc Sumerak talking about Models Inc, which you can access by clicking on the image of the awesome stylin’ male model in the hat.

And here we see a hat suitable for those fans of Dr. Seuss who also happen to be Lapland goat-herders.
And, just in case you don’t think fashion in the Marvel Universe is important, maybe I submit a few examples of Why You Are Wrong.

I need you to look at this image. I need you to look at the costumes. I need you to REALLY look. You have to face the darkness, or the darkness will never fade. Do not let costumes like these ever happen again. You have that responsibility. I have that responsibility. We ALL have that responsibility.

This is the best that Hollywood used to be able to make our heroes look. With the incredible power of Hollywood behind us, the best we could come up with was cosplay that makes me feel a bit uneasy.

And then there's today's world, where the actual (non-hollywood-backed) cosplay still makes me feel uneasy, but in a Much Better Way. Sure, I'll admit that this fashion wouldn't work very well on Lou Ferrigno, but the point here is that fashion is important. And anyone who's ever watched a plumber bend over can appreciate that I'm speaking the Truth.

Some say that without evil, good is meaningless.
Perhaps a similar truism exists for costume design.
Alternately, any troupe that calls itself the Death-Throws
deserves either derision or applause and should dress accordingly.
I guess they chose, “derision.”
I suppose it is true that there must be two sides of the fashion design coin. For every Doctor Doom, there is a Jack of Hearts.
……Wow!!!!!! I really, really need to make it to some American Comic Conventions…….
I’m considering a convention in Bologna. Interested to see a convention on the other side of the Atlantic.
Somehow the concept of “horrible fashion design” too close to the words “convention” and “bologna” trouble me.
Let me just Google it…
Holy God, I was right. I knew someone, somewhere, had done this:

I’m scared now.
Hats. And. Panties. Made. Of. Meat.
Is it any wonder I keep my brain-scraper right next to the computer?
(Uncontrollable giggling…)
I’ve got to ask, does Models Inc. take place in mainstream 616 or is it more off in its own thing?
It is official 616 territory. We’re playing for keeps.
Dang! Oh well. I should check it out anyway. (See my other comments on current 616.)
