It’s funny….there’s a side of me that knows there are far better things to do with a time machine than get old comics for cheap, but that’s always where I go. Invest in Microsoft or General Electric? Not for me. Give me those old Timely comics for a dime.
Jeff Parker says we should all come over here and make you feel uncomfortable! So…..em…how hard can it be to make someone uncomfortable on the net….
Seriously though, I love the whole Marvel Adventures line that you and Mr Parker have pretty much given life to. Its great having comics I can actually give to my young nephew to read, after I’m finished with them of course!
So, what’s the deal on “Models Inc?” Is it a one off, a series or what? And if you had to sell it to us in twenty words or less, what would you say?
Yeah…I’m kinda proud of the Marvel Adventures material. It’s great to really cut loose and have fun with the characters. And it is really nice that Jeff and I can appeal to pretty much every age group.
Hmmm…twenty words or less on Models Inc. How about “I’m doing an upcoming interview about it on Newsarama.” Or is that a cop-out?
How about…”A murder mystery involving a collection of Marvel’s most beautiful women?” Also…Spidey is kicking around in there, because he’s pretty much my most favorite character to write. Hulk will always be my guy—but he’s more difficult to write.
And in my mind, whenever I get the chance to go back in time, I end up getting all those comics I’ll never be able to afford in reality too. I view it as a sign of maturity! After all, what’s the point in being responsible in our daydreams!
(Keep telling yourself that Chris…..)
Just wondering if this is the same Paul Tobin who went to the University of Massachusetts in Boston back in the late 1960s.
If so, please write back! If not, well, you’ve got a great name to uphold.
I think that was Zemekis’ original plot for Back to the Future.
Or not.
Welcome to the interwebs, Paul. Enjoy the scenery.

And thanks for your welcome to the interwebs.
I think that’s the first Batman appearance on the table as well.
I couldn’t quite tell if it was the 1st Batman, but it sure looks like it might be. Sigh. Oh well…they probably wanted like 50 BUCKS for it.
No way!

Thanks for dropping me a line!
Thanks Paul.

Nope. That wasn’t me. I’m a newer model than that.
